The Legacy of the Dark Blade
The Dark Blade, often referred to by players as 'Yoru' (inspired by Dracule Mihawk's sword in One Piece), is the only Mythical Sword in Blox Fruits that can be directly purchased with Robux (1,200 R$). Despite being a premium item, it remains one of the most balanced and lethal weapons in the hands of a skilled sword main.
How to Upgrade: V2 and V3 Guide
Buying the sword is only the beginning. To unlock its true potential, you must complete the 'Son Quest' in the First Sea to upgrade it to Version 2. This changes the visual effects from normal slashes to a glowing green aura and significantly increases the damage.
For the ultimate flex, players can unlock Version 3 (V3) by completing the highly secretive 'Slayer of God' quest. This requires you and another player with a Dark Blade to press hidden buttons across the Second Sea while having all races at V3. This upgrade turns the sword's aura into a blinding white or custom color.
Best PvP Combos
The Dark Blade shines when paired with fruits that offer stuns. A classic combo involves using the Dark Fruit's 'Black Hole' to trap the enemy, followed immediately by Dark Blade's 'One Thousand Slashes' (X move). Because the sword's moves break instinct (observation haki), it is incredibly difficult for opponents to dodge once caught in the combo string.
